Jim is the founder and chief executive at M&A Partners. He has held C Level positions in multiple consulting companies and industry for more than 20 years. Jim is quoted extensively in USA Today for his expertise and opinions on various merger and acquisition strategies. His particular strength is in creating organizational vision to stimulate revenue growth while optimizing returns on invested capital. In 2001 Jim partnered with Microsoft to create the “Collaborative Solution of the year” for project and program management. He is a periodic lecturer at Kellogg School – Northwestern University on the subject of M&A Integration.
Jerry Klarsfeld - Co Managing Partner
Jerry is the former CEO of TDF International and has run his own consulting firm since 1979. His focus has been on organizational change, executive consulting, and pre and post-merger integration. His work has helped numerous organizations improve enterprise and team performance. His twenty-seven years experience, working primarily at the executive level, provides the solid leadership foundation at TDF International, and serves as an invaluable resource to client organizations. Jerry holds a Masters Degree from St. Mary’s University and an Advanced Graduate Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University
Alexandra R. Lajoux - Board Member and M&A Practice Advisor
Dr.Lajoux, widely published expert and best selling author, has joined the firm’s advisory board. Ms. Lajoux is renowned for her expertise in mergers and acquisitions and corporate compliance. She is the lead author of the perennially best-selling “Art of M&A” series, including The Art of M&A Integration, The Art of M&A Financing and Refinancing, The Art of M&A Structuring and The Art of M&A Due Diligence. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Lajoux has provided research and writing for a multitude of executives and professionals in the fields of accounting, compensation, finance, and law. She has worked on projects with a variety of professional service firms including all of the “Big Four" audit firms.” She is currently Chief Knowledge Officer of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Bill Roberts, Senior Partner, Culture Division
Bill has worked as a consultant and trainer since leaving college teaching in 1985. Trained in clinical psychology at Purdue and Duke, Bill has worked as a psychotherapist, a professor, a training designer, and a writer. Bill is one of the most experienced practitioners in the industry, and brings that expertise and his twenty years of experience to all his efforts.
